Everyone should be encouraged to buy locally produced goods period. Somproperties should furnish their properties with this furniture instead of that Turkish stuff.
What effect will the Berbera tuna plant have on the flying tuna to Ethiopia from Bosaso business model.
That is not a sustainable business model. I just don’t see them making that much of profits from such model.
In Puntland carton of Habo Tuna is $32. While Omaar Tuna which is imported from Tailand sells at $35 a carton.
I think, Berbera Tuna is not only going to make business harder for Habo Tuna in Ethiopia or even South Somalia but also inside Puntland as well. It is all about economy of scale. The more you can produce per 1 hour of labour or 1kw of energy used, the more the margin of profit you have.
