The Deyr season anomaly of 2023 brought about a remarkable increase in healthy vegetation, enhanced rainfall, and widespread rain coverage throughout the country, led to significant increase in healthy and lush green vegetation. As the map is showing Laasqoray, Ceerigaabo, Sheikh, Baki, parts of Borama, Ceel Afwayn, Xudun, Caynabo, Burco and Odwayne has a ranging between 0.1 to greeter than 0.2, while the rest of the country has a ranging between โ 0.1 to 0.1 which means high dense vegetation and healthy.
lastly, the anomaly in the Somaliland Deyr season from over a decade (2013 to 2023), marked by above-normal rainfall and healthy vegetation, represents a significant shift in environmental conditions. This anomaly has had a positive impact on agriculture and the natural ecosystem, highlighting the resilience and adaptability of Somalilandโs natural landscape.
