The rapid dollarisation of day-to-day transactions and dual-currency fluctuations put extreme pressure on low-income families who earn in Somaliland Shillings but buy goods priced against the US dollar. Ensure all government procurement, municipal fees, and domestic utility bills are transacted strictly in Somaliland Shillings to ease demand on USD reserves.

I agree, with the large arable land, we should not have been importing things like Patatoes, Onions, all the greens..
These are perfect for our type of land, lots of sun and seasonal rains that can be stored in dams.
