Beautiful scenic drive. Just wished if they moved 200m away from the Naasa-Hablood. Naasaha need to be protected and kept as original as it can be kept.

That fence looks feeble and its the same with Laas Geel. They don’t understand the money they can generate from tourism just by safegaurding and facilitating organised visits. Laas geel is only 6 km (dirt road) from the berbera corridor road, they could have commisioned the contractors that built the corridor who were on site to build a 6km paved road to Laas geel site.

The problem is Hargeisa sprawl has reached the foothills of Naasa hablood infact I think they even had to relocate some people away from the bypass. The only other option was for the bypass to go behind the mountains which would have added KM and cost to the route. Hargeisa will soon pass this road and envelope the mountains it won’t be long before they need another bypass perhaps to the South (airport side).

The sprawl need to be managed. The new mayor need to forcefully acquire land for public use i.e. Park land, sports fields, schools, etc.

We can’t allow this unplanned buildings to keep on going.

This is the kind fence needed.
