In 2012 Docemus received the request for collaboration from Mohamed Aden Sheikh Children Teaching Hospital, a non profit organisation to set up the analytical laboratory and for the theoretical and practical training of Somali technical personnel.
It’s a children’s hospital and specially in the near future two masters in pediatrics and laboratory medicine recognised by the local government are in the scope.
In January 2013 our laboratory technician experts and collaborators, among whom Marco, went to Hargeisa to set up the laboratory, making it operative and to train theoretically and practically local technicians, accurately selected.
The laboratory is currently up and running and it performs all the analysis needed to maintain its well-functioning status.
