The landscape is strikingly very similar to Somaliland. It is in Hijaz region near Yemen border.
Very unfortunate about the Donkey that got hit by the car. It seems though the Donkey had a wound from previous injury as there is a huge cut on the left shoulder even before its got hit by the moving car.
