It took 10 hours to get the voting sorted. If they were smart, they could have used “Preferential Voting system” and get it all over under just the first round of voting.
Because in Preferential voting, the preferences deals are done outside the voting venue and submitted to the voting committee.
Preferential voting suits best in tribal or clan based political systems, the outcome is never fixed as it depends on the results of so many other contestants and how they placed their preferences. This system also reflects more on the majority of people’s preferences.
