Hargeisa - African Express Airlines announced the resumption of direct flights from Egal International Airport in the capital Hargeisa to Aden International Airport.
According to the UK CAA, Ethiopian carried 19,424 roundtrip Heathrow passengers in July 2024. With 21,266 seats for sale, it filled an average of 91% of seats.
Booking data suggests that approximately 13,800 (71%) of passengers connected to another flight in Addis. Harare was the top destination, followed by Hargeisa, Mombasa, Lagos (double the distance of a non-stop flight; they chased lower fares), and Blantyre.

It’s not clear at all. My guess is it’s similar to Berbera port and they will manage it for a number of years. Or it could just be a loan we pay back with minerals lol.
