Do they really do any market research? We already have 2 others that are competing for this small market, why make it even more harder?

There are so many other manufactoring opportunities available such as in the health/medical space, for example “generic” tablets market. Currently Ethiopia has monopoly on this.

Sadly I doubt it. They copy others success. No pioneering. They know the fortune medical tourism costs Somaliland. But more hotels and malls it is.

Omaar has this flour mill plus a number of hotels and malls in Berbera, Gebiley and Hargeisa yub you guessed it a “5star” hotel in Hargeisa, I wonder who recently unveiled a 5 star hotel in Hargeisa? Don’t forget the oil storage terminal too. They clearly foresee a market in the “future”. But don’t care much for the needs of today!

Meanwhile this flour mill is projected to consume

Total electrıcal consumption of the Mill: 2 000 Kwa.380v 50 Hz 3 PHz

Total water: 30 ton /per day
