#๐๐ก๐จ๐ญ๐จ๐ฌ: The Manager of the Somaliland Ports Authority, Mr. Ali Diiriye Ahmed, received a delegation at Berbera Port from the RIDNE Food Consortiumโa Ukraine-based umbrella organization specializing in agricultural production, food processing, and delivery, particularly for humanitarian relief programs.
RIDNE Food Consortium operates an extensive network of farms and food processing facilities, managing a complete food supply chain spanning production, processing, storage, and distribution.
The primary objective of the delegationโs visit was to evaluate opportunities to establish Berbera Port as a key hub for landing, storing, and distributing humanitarian food aid destined for the Horn of Africa, Sudan, and Yemen.
Realizing this initiative would mark a crucial milestone for Berbera, further strengthening its strategic role in regional trade, logistics, and humanitarian relief operations.
Additionally, the delegation included representatives from the Tony Blair Institute, who arrived in #Somaliland on a fact-finding and assessment mission to study potential avenues for launching multi-sectoral operations and partnerships within the country.
This visit highlights the expanding potential of Berbera Port to drive regional trade integration, logistics, and international humanitarian operations.
