Trafigura is one of the largest players in the transportation of petroleum products and storage. They are the DP World equivalent of Oil Terminal management.

- The fact that aviation/jet fuel will be stored there only adds to the intrigue of who will be the new tenant of the Berbera naval base and airport.

That’s a good news, indeed.
The assumption was that the original plan envisaged a naval base and a military airport being built in Berbera, similar to Assab base in Eritrea. Clearly ships and planes need reliable clean fuels to power them which I dont think Berbera Oil Terminal, under its current guise, was capable of providing . But then again the base might have its own underground storage
