A Landmark Investment in Somaliland’s Healthcare Future!
A heartfelt thank you to the United Arab Emirates for its nearly $40 million investment in constructing a major referral hospital in Burco, Somaliland’s second-largest city.
This landmark project is expected to become one of the largest healthcare facilities of its kind in the region, significantly improving access to quality medical services, particularly across eastern Somaliland.
Beyond healthcare, this investment will create economic opportunities, generate employment, and strengthen Burco’s position as a major economic and social hub.
Special appreciation to President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro) for his tireless efforts in advancing this important investment, and to Somaliland’s Minister of Health for facilitating the President’s engagements in Dubai and Abu Dhabi that helped move this initiative forward.
