Yusuf Shaacir was one of my favourite sources for interesting poetry. I specially appreciated the effort he put towards his collections about Hurre Walanwal and the Buuhoodle lady.
Ahmad Safiina was a young raising star in Somaliland politics. I remember him from a Youtube channel he used to host in early days of Youtube which he used to cover Somaliland events to his Arabic speaking audience.
Very unfortunate that these two promising people have switched sides and singing Mogadishu’s tune.
