DAWLADA HOODE EE CAASIMADA HARGEISA
The Theatre was built in the mid-1970s, was destroyed during the civil war and reconstructed in 2012, into a 7-storey shopping mall complete with a car park and a space for theatre productions. Currently, the car park itself is also being transformed into a 7-storey building attached to the shopping mall, and the RMC will be supplying the concrete for this transformation. Today, the RMC laid the new building’s 4th floor slab with 90 cubic metres of concrete. So far and in total, 294 cubic metres of concrete have been laid by the RMC for this extension. Once the 7th floor is completed, the resulting shopping mall will be the second largest in Hargeisa, after the new Waheen Market also emerges from reconstruction.
You can see the landscape is crying for some care. If only they started strategic prevention of run off water by slowing down the water, all these hills you see would be lash green in no time.
